The Graduate Certificate in Christian Education is offered by The Graduate School of Education for K-12 educators desiring in-depth study of the biblical principles that guide a faith-informed pedagogy. Students pursuing this certificate already have at least a B.A. degree, and will complete 9 hours of graduate work in the existing Master of Education program at Covenant in the following sequence:

Elective Courses (choose two of these 3-hour courses):
- EDU 630 Learning Theory Applied to Teaching
- EDU 712 Shaping School Curriculum K-12
- EDU 725 Development of Personnel within Organizational Leadership
- EDU 730 Implementing Instructional Strategies
- EDU 735 Integrative Approaches to Curriculum
- EDU 738 Research and Practice in Teaching Content Fields
- EDU 740 Supervision of Instruction
- EDU 745 School Law, Standards, and Policy
- EDU 750 The Nature of Knowledge and Curriculum Integration
- EDU 760 School Business Management
Graduate Certificate students apply as a Special Student to the Master of Education programs which includes the application form, statement of faith, transcripts, and a letter of cooperation from the applicant’s current school since some assignments may need to be completed in a school setting.
